iTunes Rewind 2009: Hottest App Store Games of the Year

iTunes Rewind reveals the hottest games of 2009, which are divided into two groups, highest rated and top sellers.

I’m glad Apple made this distinction between highest rated and top sellers. With such a strong focus on the top 10 listings, which tracks number of sells as opposed to rating, games like Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor would have gone relatively unnoticed despite the overwhelming number of positive user reviews, nearly three thousand.

Without further ado, I give you this year’s hottest App Store games of 2009.
